Dill potatoes

Hello, everyone! I have a new recipe for you, which you probably have already tried in some ways / places. I love potatoes since I was a little kid and this love is growing even more. This way is one of my very very favorite ones. It’s easy simple and amazingly yummy. Give it a try next time you are making any kind of fish for dinner.

INGREDIENTS:

Serves two.

  • 3 large potatoes / 4 middle
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • half a cup finely chopped dill
  • black pepper

PREPARATION:

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them in big pieces and season with salt. Cover with water and boil over medium heat for about 10 minutes or until they are almost ready, but not too soft. Remove the water and heat a big pan.

Put the olive oil in and when heated, add the potatoes. Don’t stir them in the first two minutes! Sprinkle with garlic powder and add half of the dill. Use a wooden spoon the turn them to the other side. When slightly golden add the other half of the dill and some more garlic and black pepper. Cook until all the potatoes are golden. Serve with fish and white wine. Bon apetit!
