Orange candle DIY

I’m sure you’ve seen these half orange candles around the internet and in magazines. Have you been curious if they work? Yes, me too. Yesterday I decided to give them a try. You need to cut the peel of an orange in the middle all the way around and then, carefully remove the fruit.

After you’re done eating, pour some olive oil in the orange cup. Fill it to the middle, make sure you’ve soaked the stick in oil and light it. It will take around 20 seconds to light, so be patient. It works!

I had a sweet natural candle for the evening and wonderful aroma as a bonus. You should definitely try this at home, while it’s still orange season!
